With a whole host of Marvel films on the horizon, from Thor: Ragnarok to the distant Captain Marvel feature, who knows what movies the Marvel panel will focus on? Scott Derrickson, director of Doctor Strange, does!
Derrickson posted a photo on Twitter with a not-so-cryptic clue about his presence at the event.

The photo confirms that Doctor Strange will be one of the featured flicks at Comic-Con. But wait, there’s more! James Gunn, who will be directing the second installment of Guardians of the Galaxy, responded with this little tid-bit:
Really? You’ll be so close. I might have to come see you. https://t.co/LbqvjJ46Vg

This likely means we can expect a glimpse of what Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot and the rest of the gang will be up to on their newest adventure.
Given Marvel president Kevin Feige‘s statements about making an impact if attending Comic-Con, we can probably expect something quite exciting. When speaking about why they opted not to attend the convention last year, Feige stated, “I really have a belief: If you can’t go to Comic-Con and over-deliver, then don’t go.”
