For a long time, Universal owned the rights to Submariner, a.k.a. Prince Namor. However, within the past year, the rights returned to Marvel.
Now, Reel News Hawaii claims that both DC’s Aquaman and Sub-Mariner could be filming in Hawaii at the same time.

Almost instantaneously, fans started saying Chinese actor and martial artist Donnie Yen would be perfect for the role. Not only is he skilled in wushu and tai chi, he also just flat out looks the part.
He’s also already proven he can excel in big blockbusters. Recently, he appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.
