‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Casting: Here’s Who Michael Mando & Abraham Attah Will Play

Two new characters from the Spider-Man comics are rumored to be making their entrance into the cinematic world in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Actors Michael Mando of Better Call Saul fame has been added to the cast as well as Abraham Attah, the boy soldier in Beasts of No Nation.

Two new actors were added to the impressive lineup.

Though IMDb doesn’t currently have roles listed for the two of them, a couple clues have allowed fans to parse together some possible theories.

The Better Call Saul Twitter page may have given the first clue by tweeting that Mando’s character on the television series would “bring Carnage.”

“Carnage” is an oddly specific term to choose, so fans are taking it not as a coincidence, but as an indicator that Mando will be playing Spider-Man character Carnage in the new film. Plus, the tweet showed up the same day Mando’s casting in Homecoming was announced.

In the comics, Carnage is one of Peter Parker’s biggest foes. With the ability to shape-shift, Carnage is born from a merger between Venom’s alien offspring with serial killer Cletus Kasady.
