The cast of 2005’s Fantastic Four featured Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis as the team of heroes. Julian McMahon played the Lee-criticized Doctor Doom.
The movie as a whole didn’t do so hot, so the studio execs decided to take another stab at it in 2015. Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell took the reins there, but the film was deemed to be another failure. This may have something to do with the fact that the rights to the Fantastic Four are owned by Fox rather than Disney, which has been putting out hit after hit with their Marvel characters.
Stan Lee has spoken, and in comic world, that’s basically the voice of God. So get those rights back where they belong!
